I learned from yesterday's lecture that we are now interning under different EMS treatment protocols for Central Phoenix. Back then, we had the WEMSCOM Advanced Life Support Treatment Protocols and Guidelines or "West Valley Protocols", but now we're using Central Arizona Regional EMS Guidelines.
The CAR EMS guidelines are a ongoing collaborative effort with Arizona Emergency Medical Systems, Inc. (AEMS), EMS Regional Operations Consistency Committee (ROCC), Valley Medical Directors (VMD), and last but not least Westside EMS Consortium (WEMSCOM)
From a brief look of it, it's a very solid piece of work.
New material, new experiences.
